Alpha Pi Omega Foundation

The Alpha Pi Omega Foundation is committed to the spiritual, intellectual and physical growth of youth in the Knoxville, TN area. In support of its emphasis on intellectual growth, the Alpha Pi Omega Foundation established a Scholarship Program to: (1) provide assistance to eligible applicants who desire to continue their academic education beyond high school, and (2) focus recognition and provide continued support to Institutions of Higher Education.
The Foundation reviews applications based on a number of factors, with special emphasis on applicant’s character, personal merit, background, and past academic performance. Scholarships are usually awarded in three categories:

A Freshman Scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior to attend an accredited two- or four-year Institution of Higher Education in the United States. The application is available annually in January.

A Continuing Education Scholarship is awarded to a student already attending an Institution of Higher Education. The application is available annually in October.

An Armentine Evans Pickett Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in the field of education who is already attending an Institution of Higher Education.
